Tell me about your business? What services do you offer?

Bay Paperie offers custom wedding suites as well as any “day-of” print and promotional materials– programs, huggers, cups, napkins, signage, etc! I love coordinating a wedding monogram into all of the paper products used on the big day!

Why hire a wedding stationer?

Stationery is SO personal. Generic stationery is great, but many like to kick it up a notch for their weddings. If you have an idea of what you want, great! If not, great too– I can work with you to find the perfect suite for your needs! By using a designer and having custom stationery made, you can get exactly what you want and have something unique as well.

Do you have different packages or is each piece of the suite a la carte?

The beauty of custom stationery is that anything can be done! We start with what you like and look at ideas and additions after that.  Some may just need a formal invitation, while others will need an invitation, details card, RSVP card, etc.

When do I need to start the design process?

Now! If you have a wedding date, it’s never too early to start the invitation suite. Some print processes can take months to complete and design and revisions can take a few weeks as well.

How many edits does it usually take to get everything perfect?

Typically not too many! Once we narrow down a style, we tweak a couple times to get it perfect!

Are there any etiquettes are outdated? Are there any that you still consider and absolute must?

I love this question. I am a huge etiquette fan and I love classic invitations. While many brides want their “New Monogram” at the top of their suites, etiquette tells us that’s not your monogram until the wedding is over! (I still do it sometimes, but make sure my brides know! :))

Do you provide calligraphy, as well?

No, but there are several talented calligraphers in the area!

What the questions you get asked most?

“How much are wedding invitations?” Such a hard question– I have made suites for $1/ea up to $20/ea. Pricing all depends on quantity and the print process you choose.

How can couples contact you?
