Jackie and Otto had the most amazing laid back Summer Dauphin Island AL wedding day! It was evident from the moment we met Jackie that family was very important to them and after meeting them we know why! What a sweet family! Jackie and Otto’s children and close friends put the whole day together for them and it turned out perfectly! From the perfect Dauphin Island setting to the simple but gorgeous lace wedding dress, Jackie and Otto’s wedding felt very “them”. We are so happy to have witnessed and photographed such a special day for the newly Mr. and Mrs.
Dauphin Island AL Wedding Day
For their Summer wedding at Dauphin Island we couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful day. The perfect beach day! When we arrived to their home to greet the couple, everyone was calm and ready to get married! Jackie looked so so beautiful and we could not wait for Otto to see her! We all walked from their private residence to the community board walk access to the beach. Neighbors cheered Otto on and couldn’t believe the big day had finally arrived. We placed Otto for the first looked as we waited for Jackie. When he saw her he just melted. What first look dreams are made of! After a few couples portraits it was time for family portraits. We had the most beautiful soft light and the private beach all to ourselves! We could have stayed there the whole evening with them but it was time for the ceremony.
Beach Home Wedding Ceremony Inspiration
With their children and sweet friend who is their minister by their sides, Jackie and Otto became husband and wife with a gorgeous beach home ceremony. They tied the knot on the back lawn adorned with stung lights, a simple arbor and in true beach wedding style, tiki torches. Their pup, Rugglesby was the best ring bearer! Their children video called in their grandparents who were unable to attend. They shared communion. There were laughs. There were tears. It was beautiful and special. After the ceremony they cut the sweetest sandcastle wedding cake from Lighthouse Bakery.
