A Spring Hill College Engagement Session in Mobile, Alabama

A Spring Hill College Engagement Session in Mobile, Alabama

Allison & Brandon | Spring Hill College Engagement | 06.02.2018

We met Allison at the Wedding of a Lifetime Bridal show hosted by Francia’s Formal Affair  at the Mobile Convention Center in Mobile, Alabama. We can’t wait to share this Mobile, Alabama engagement session with you.

The meeting…

We met Allison at Starbucks and quickly got to chatting. We discussed how Brandon proposed as well as the ideas she had for their engagement session. Her and Brandon love Dauphin Island and she originally thought they would like to shoot their engagement session there. After her and Brandon visited the island, they decided that it had changed so much and wasn’t a good representation of what they wanted as a setting for their engagement session. They then chose the fabulous Spring Hill College campus in Mobile, Alabama. It didn’t disappoint.

The weather forcast…

During the week of a shoot, we watched the weather like a hawk. We hoped and prayed, that if it rains, it is only the typical 15 minute scattered showers that are normal to Mobile, Alabama summer afternoons. When we checked the weather on Monday, it looked like the day we had been planning for MONTHS was going to be a bust. But, even worse, the rest of the weekend and the next 10 days looked like solid rain.

We were so disappointed. We texted Allison and told her that it would be best to reschedule and that we should probably come up with plans C and D, as well. But as Friday approached, it appeared that our original date and time might be doable after all.

The engagement session…

Spring Hill College‘s campus is located off of Old Shell in Mobile, Alabama. The campus is probably one of the prettiest locations in Mobile with the Avenue of the Oaks that leads up to the Stewartfield House. We immediately knew this would be our first stop. We then wandered around a part of campus that has an intricate, pale yellow building that has beautiful architecture and landscaping. Each spot we chose on campus couldn’t have been better. We can’t wait to go back and scout more locations.

As we said, the location didn’t disappoint and neither did the couple. The beautiful, old live oaks were a perfect setting for the gorgeous couple. Allison and Brandon were pretty effortless to pose. Brandon had no problem getting Allison to laugh and giggle. Brandon loved making his bride laugh and smile so much that he couldn’t help but laugh and smile himself.

We love when a couple is so in love that you can tell by the way they look at each other and their body language. The simple things like way he holds her waste or kisses her face. Or the way she looks at him.

Thank you…
