A Downtown Mobile, Alabama Wedding

When Pat & Maggie asked us to photograph their downtown Mobile, Alabama wedding we were super excited. We have known Maggie and Pat for a few years and they are both amazing people. Pat is a local artist. He creates some pretty sweet pyrography. You can see some of his work in local coffee shops and galleries throughout Mobile and Baldwin County. Maggie is currently in nursing school and should be finishing soon. They have the cutest little four year old named Oliver.
Maggie wore a chiffon and lace, A-line, Lillian West bridal gown from Bliss Bridal in Fairhope, Alabama. Her bridesmaid’s wore various styled dresses of shades of blue and purple. The groom and groomsmen wore dark gray, satin edged notch lapel Joesph Abboud suits from Men’s Warehouse in Mobile, Alabama. The weather the was perfect for a December in Mobile, Alabama. The bridal party dressed at the Malaga Inn in the Downtown Historic District. They then hopped on a beautiful trolley from Gulf Coast Tours at the Malaga Inn and road to Spring Hill College campus for portraits and the ceremony. The ceremony was held at St. Joseph Chapel. The chapel is adorned with stunning white ceilings with beautiful architecture.
The ceremony was traditional and perfect. Father John Lynes performed a full Catholic Mass.
Pat & Maggie’s guest joined them at the Alabama Contemporary Art Center for their reception The cake was a traditional 3 tiered cake from Publix with more of Julia Greer Fobes stunning florals on each layer. Between the delicious food from Chad Hicks and the fun music from the DJ, Dalton Muse the entire wedding party had a blast celebrating Pat and Maggie!
The entire day was stunning…
From the time that we arrived to the end of the day, everything fell together perfectly. The wedding party had fun while getting ready. The ceremony was beautiful and the lavender exit perfect. This Downtown Mobile, Alabama Wedding was stunning in every way!
