Mary Clare and Carson had such a classic southern wedding on Dog River in Mobile AL. For the past year we’ve seen more and more intimate guest counts while keeping all the charm and elegance and we are loving it! We are so blessed to be of the select few who came together to witness the beginning of Mary Clare and Carson’s marriage. They became husband and wife with an outdoor ceremony on Dog River here in Mobile. The ceremony was followed by a beautiful backyard reception at a private residence. We LOVED being a part of their day. What a special day for two of the sweetest people.
Mobile AL Wedding on Dog River
Their late May wedding in Mobile AL on Dog River was warm but the Summer time glow was amazing. Our associate photographer, Ashton, has a special talent for finding that perfect spot that shows off that summer sun! As the day began, Mary Clare got dressed with her mom and sister while Carson prepared to see his bride. Mary Clare shared the sweetest first look with her Dad, we love these, before the ceremony. They tied the knot surrounded by their closest friends and family beneath the handmade wooden cross.
After their river-side ceremony Ashton captured all the formal family photos before sneaking off for some bride and groom portraits. How perfect is this space for a wedding!? Water, sunset, lush green space, fun architectural features – we couldn’t have asked for more variety of portrait options!
Southern Outdoor Reception Inspiration
After their Dog River ceremony and portraits we got ready for their reception! They had a small open air reception on the back lawn complete with a strung lights, hydrangea center pieces and a beer truck! How fun! They danced the night away with their families to live music under the stars! Such a joyful, southern summer wedding!! Finally, after cutting the cake and a champagne toast the newly Mr and Mrs giggled their way through a sparkler send off that made for an adorable photo opp. It was the best way to end a lovely evening. Mary Clare and Carson looked perfect together all night. You could totally see in their eyes how happy and in love they are!!!!
