Courtney and Ben’s Gulf Shores Wedding Chapel wedding day was truly something to remember! It took place just before Hurricane Sally was going to hit the area – and yet, despite that, we had the most gorgeous weather. Their beach inspired Gulf Shores wedding day was so relaxed – we feel honored that we were chosen to capture their incredible memories for years to come!
When we arrived to the beachfront condo where the bridesmaids and bride were getting ready, the girls had just finished up hair and makeup. What timing! Everyone was super relaxed and ready to celebrate Courtney and Ben! Courtney had all of her details together for us. So we spent a little time documenting her special details. She absolutely LOVED them – and we don’t blame her! The hairpin she wore is an antique family heirloom and her shoes were a stunning modern touch. Documenting all these little details and accents are important to us. They’re part of our brides’ personalities and deserve to be remembered!
Gulf Shores Wedding Chapel Beach Wedding
Since Courtney and Ben decided to not have a first look, we carefully scheduled Ben driving to their ceremony location before Courtney and her girls headed outside for a few portraits. It worked our perfectly!! Not far from where the girls got ready was where Ben and Courtney had their ceremony. It was the perfect beach wedding – there was even a steel drum going!! When Courtney and Ben met at the beach for their ceremony, the emotions were just so special. We love all wedding ceremonies, but there’s something so relaxing about a beach wedding. To hear the waves rolling and feel the sand beneath your toes… it’s so romantic!
After Courtney and Ben were announced as husband and wife, it was time to enjoy a little time with them! The beach was just perfect for their wedding portraits. Seriously, we can’t say how grateful we are for the good weather!! Watching Courtney and Ben together just reminded why we love what we do. It’s not just about capturing all the details, the guests, and the food. Photographing a wedding is truly about documenting the love story between two people. It’s a chance to remind them why they came together in the first place – and give them the chance to remember that feeling forever through their portraits (and gorgeous heirloom products!).
Before long, we took Courtney and Ben over to their reception. In the Gulf Shores wedding chapel, their family and friends waited to celebrate with them. With a bubble exit to end the night, their beach wedding day was complete. Congratulations again, to the new Mr. and Mrs.! We are so happy for you both and thrilled we could document your incredible beach wedding!!
