A Fairhope, Alabama Wedding
We sat down with Tia and her mother at Starbuck’s earlier last year to discuss the bride and groom and their plans for their Fairhope, Alabama wedding day. Tia and Myleek are an awesome couple, they met in Pensacola, Florida and Tia was not interested at all so Myleek kept pursuing her and eventually charmed her into a first date and that was all it took.
About the day…
Myleek is in the Marine Corp and Tia is still currently living in Mobile, AL. They haven’t seen each other in a while by the time their wedding day rolled around. Long distance, military relationships can be super challenging. But, Tia and Myleek are cut out for the life style.
Tia wore a stunning gown from I Do Bridal in Mobile, Alabama. Tia’s bridesmaid’s wore full length chiffon dresses that were different shades of pastel . The groom wore his traditional Marine Corp dress blue. He looked super snazzy. His groomsmen wore traditional, light grey suits from Men’s Warehouse in Mobile, Alabama.
Tia and Myleek were super lucky to have a gorgeous day. We have had a ton of rain this winter. The skies were bright blue and only a few clouds in the sky. We got some stunning back lit bride and groom portraits after the first look.
The ceremony was short and sweet with vows written by Tia and Myleek to each other. The vows were sweet love letters that they wrote to each other professing all of the qualities and reasons that the other was the perfect person for them.
Oak Hollow Farm catered the wedding reception. The traditional 3 tiered cake was from Sam’s and was decorated with soft pastel florals placed on each layer. DJ Dr. D had all the guest up and moving for the remainder of the night while guest sipped on special cocktails from the bride and groom.
The day was perfect for Tia and Myleek…
Our favorite thing about day was how much the bride and groom love each other. From the second they locked eyes at the first look until the exit, you could tell that the only thing that mattered was they they were together. The best part of the day was watching their friend and family surround them with love and support on their first day of marriage.
Tia and Myleek, thank you for having us to document your Fairhope, Alabama wedding at Oak Hollow Farm . Photographing couples in love is the best part of our job!
