Spring Hill Bridal Portraits
When Brina opted for bridal portraits instead of an engagement session, we were excited and so was her fiancee John. He was all about letting her do what she wanted for their wedding day! We love to gift our couples with an engagement session because it’s the perfect opportunity to get them comfortable in front of our cameras before their wedding day. But we also seriously that Brina had these Spring Hill Bridal Portraits in mind, too! Brina had her heart set on bridal portraits at a Mobile, AL landmark, the Avenue of the Oaks. We was so happy to oblige! The Avenue of the Oaks is a beautiful road covered in branches of oak trees. The oak trees have been around longer than we have. It was the perfect setting for such a beautiful southern bridal tradition.

Bridal portraits are traditionally photographed before the wedding, once the bride has her gown, and displayed at the reception. They are the perfect opportunity to do a trial run of hair and makeup. They also allow us to spend a special day with the mother of the bride before the hustle and bustle of a wedding. That’s just what Brina did. We loved getting to know momma as well. We walked all around Springhill College‘s campus, stopping at every picture perfect spot, laughing and teaching Brina how to pose. Brina even invented a new pose together that Brina called the “dance spin”. We loved getting a chance to photograph details like Brina’s grandmother’s humming bird earrings and her pear-shaped halo engagement ring- our favorite! This Spring Hill Bridal Portrait session was just so elegant and timeless! Thank you fr allowing us to capture this special time for you, Brina!
